My path to Park Lane has been full of memorable and rewarding experiences. But, I am certain the best is yet to come. The first milestone was graduating from the NUI, Galway (Ireland) with a B.A degree in 2012. I then decided to undertake teacher training in 2015 at Edge Hill University (UK). I subsequently spent two years teaching right across the subject range at a rather large comprehensive secondary school in Hertfordshire.
However, my head was turned at the opportunity of teaching in the sunny Dominican Republic and so I decided to take up a role as Head of Department at a renowned secondary school in the Caribbean. I view the study of the Humanities as an opportunity to question and develop critical thinking skills. Now at Park Lane, I am looking forward to working with students and staff to achieve our goals.
On a personal note, I am looking forward to discovering the intricacies of Czech life and satisfying my interest in the great outdoors here in the Czech Republic!
