I am originally from the Czech Republic. I graduated in Psychology and Physical Education and Sport from Charles University in Prague. After school I was fortunate enough to spend a year in Norway, practicing my teaching skills under the Erasmus programme and was keen to broaden my experience in London as a motor skills development instructor.
I started to work at Parklane International School in 2009 and I feel very excited to come back to work after four years of an enriching experience of bringing up our two children. It helped me understand children's feelings and needs in more depth and to realise how much, while we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is really about.
As a PE teacher I believe I can help children develop physical abilities and healthy habits that can last for the rest of their lives. In my spare time I enjoy many sport activities but most recently I practice yoga. I try to use these skills in developing mindfulness as well as physical strength and flexibility in the PE lessons with my students.
