Originally from Zlín, I completed my five-year Master’s degree in Czech language, literature and social science at Charles University in Prague. I’m also qualified to teach English as a foreign language. My love for teaching prompted me to gain experience in various Czech schools, where I taught both Czech and English classes. During my university studies, I created and successfully ran English programmes for children, delivered both in schools and privately. I have a rich experience at integrating children with autism into a school setting. I joined Park Lane at 2009. As Head of the Czech programme, I’m proud to lead a team of dedicated Czech teachers, creating a bespoke curriculum to satisfy the learning needs of children in Czech, within our international educational environment. As a member of the Primary and Secondary Senior Leadership Teams, I try to make sure Czech never gets left behind! My hobbies and interests include reading, theatre, writing poetry, cultivating cacti and metal detecting.
