Russian Revolution live pictures

On Tuesday the week before the autumn break, 9P took their lesson outside and created seven freeze frames depicting the forced abdication of Tsar Nicholas II as part of their studies on the Russian Revolution. In the course of coming lessons, the students will study the attempts at democracy under a provisional government before Trotsky led the Red Army's storming of Petrograd.

On the 26th of October 1917, the Red Guards entered the Winter Palace and arrested the members of the Provisional Government seizing power for the Bolsheviks and ushering in a new era which would have widespread ramifications in shaping the 20th century world and beyond.
