Petr Kučera

Czech Teacher

I began teaching Czech language 11 years ago while studying at university. During that time, I was working at the Centre for Integration of Foreigners, at various universities including my alma mater Charles University and attended a one-year internship at the University of Valladolid in Spain. After completing my studies in Czech as a foreign language, I continued giving lessons for many different schools and companies. I gained various experiences with people from all around the world. My students and I learn a lot from each other.
Later I decided to pass on my knowledge. Therefore, I partially worked as a senior teacher in a language school. I provided support for teachers, organized and presented training sessions and workshops. I also conducted inspections of lessons in order to provide appropriate feedback and possible self-development suggestions to tutors.
In school, I enjoy the creativity of my students. I like to use modern methodology and make the lessons as entertaining as possible. I am very enthusiastic about supporting and motivating pupils. I believe that Czech language can be taught in a funny and interesting way.

In my free time, my biggest pleasures are traveling, books, learning languages and doing sports. I am looking forward to new challenges at Park Lane.
