Lily Hidson

Year 5L Class Teacher and Year 5 Curriculum Leader

Originally from Bedfordshire in the East of England, I completed my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Swansea University. Following this, I spent three exciting years working with children aged 4-14 in my role as manager of a private children’s tuition centre. I gained a wealth of experience teaching students of all abilities in local primary and secondary schools and community centres. I then moved to Myanmar and joined a British International School as a Teaching Partner in Year 6. I later gained my PGCE at the University of Warwick and continued my time in Myanmar as a class teacher in Year 4. I am passionate about creating a warm and welcoming learning environment where students can build confidence and a love of learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy hiking and painting. I have a passion for reading and enjoy exploring new ideas and different cultures through fiction and non-fiction texts. I am thrilled to be joining Park Lane and look forward to getting to know the students that make up its vibrant community.
