After completing a Psychology degree in 2003 back home in South Africa, I went on to do a PGCE in 2006. A stint in marketing and a CELTA in 2008, I went on to teach English in Vietnam in 2009. It was in Vietnam where I met my husband, and we both moved to Swaziland where we taught for two and half years. Hungry for yet more adventure, in 2012, soon after the birth of my first son, we moved to Jordan. Here, I taught A Level Psychology, as well as KS3 English. In 2015, just before the birth of my second son, we moved to Oman for a one year stint, before deciding to explore a new continent.
We have now been in this beautiful city for four years where I thoroughly enjoy teaching IB Psychology and being SENCo at Park Lane. During this time, I have completed an MSc Psychology with the University of Roehampton, as well as two postgraduate certificates in Psychometric testing and Access Arrangements and am a registered test user with the British Psychological Society.
