Originally from the West Country in the UK, I carried out my teacher training in Bath in 2005 and my first teaching post was at Hardenhuish School in Wiltshire. After visiting a teacher friend working in Cairo, I decided that pursuing my career abroad would be a fantastic way for me to develop professionally, whilst seeing more of the world. In 2011 I travelled to Jordan, where I spent 4 years working as Faculty Leader for English and Psychology at a prominent international school. I joined Park Lane in 2015 as Subject Leader for English and am thrilled to have the opportunity to develop the curriculum for this subject. The students at Park Lane are wonderful and I have been very impressed with their studious attitude towards learning since I started at the school. In addition to teaching, I am studying for my MA in Education at the University of Bath.
Prague is a beautiful, fun city to live in and we have been made to feel very welcome by the local people. I have a young daughter and we are having lots of fun exploring all the parks and activities for children, on offer in the city. We hope to remain here for some time!
