Enigma
On Wednesday 13th February around 100 of our students from Years 7 to 12 had a chance to be wowed and inspired by Dr James Grime. James delivered his famous presentation on Enigma machine and the history of codebreaking. We discovered that it's ok to do maths just for the fun of it, and how Fermat's Little Theorem, that had no real applications for nearly 400 years, is now widely used in modern cybersecurity.
It was spectacular!
