Born and raised in Alaska, and educated in Oregon, I have spent my career traveling the world as an international teacher. I love learning, and I love sharing what I have learned with my students. I have taught Chess to Kindergartners in Oregon, English to middle-schoolers in South Korea, Calculus and Physics to high-schoolers in Taiwan, Data Science to adults in Texas, and Computer Science and Cooking to IB students in Mexico. While in Mexico City, I completed my Post-Graduate Certification in Education.
Other than teaching, I also enjoy cooking for friends and family, creating generative art, hiking, programming, playing board & card games, weightlifting, snowboarding and wandering around foreign cities.
