After graduating from the University of Manchester in 2003, I pursued a career in industry until returning to university in 2009 to retrain as a secondary mathematics teacher. After completing my PGCE at the University of Brighton, I worked for a large comprehensive school in outer London, gaining UK QTS, before being lured away by the bright lights of Shanghai. I have since spent seven years teaching IGCSE, A-Level and IB mathematics internationally, in Asia and South America.
I am moving to Prague with my wife and our baby daughter. We are excited about beginning a new family life in the Czech Republic. As a teacher I am passionate about making the universal language of mathematics relevant and interesting, and believe strongly in empowering students to learn independently in preparation for their future careers. In my spare time I enjoy the great outdoors, motorcycling and reading.
