Czech for native speakers
The graduate from the Czech programme at Park Lane International School likes the Czech language and understands that Czech opens another door to his future life and career. During his education based on modern approaches, he/she develops his/her positive relationship with the Czech lands, culture and history. A precise knowledge of the Czech language, history and geography is part of his/her identity, which he/she actively and confidently exercises in the spoken and written grasp of the language.
A successful student of the Czech programme is able to choose a book, read it with interest and recommend it to others. He/she manages to use Czech sources of information effectively and does not hesitate to share his/her knowledge and skills with his/her classmates or other members of the wider school community.
The graduate does not understand education in the Czech programme as a dangerous unknown territory full of grammatical and spelling rules, but as a process of enriching himself/herself and his/her surroundings. He/she understands language education as a tool to achieve higher goals, such as an open path to higher education in the Czech language. He/she is not afraid of making mistakes, but makes good use of them for further improvements. The graduate from the Czech programme understands that he/she is not learning primarily for parents, teachers, grades or the university, but above all for himself/herself, his/her development and he/she is ready and wants to be a long life learner.
