IGCSE Examination results
We are delighted to inform the school community about the Cambridge IGCSE results of our current Year 12 students (the graduating Class of 2020) who are now beginning their IB Diploma courses.
Note: as global statistics for 2018 have not yet been published, we are including comparative data from 2017.
Our Y12 pupils' achievements included:
44.9 % of all exams passed at A*/A grade (2017 worldwide results 38.8 %)
87.4 % of all exams sat were in the A* to C grade range (2017 worldwide = 78.6 %)
55.6 % of Maths exams passed at A*/A grade (2017 worldwide = 36,1 %)
100 % of Maths results in the A* to C grade range (2017 worldwide = 74.8 %)
37 % of *First Language English results at A*/A standard (2017 worldwide = 27.2 %)
70.4 % of *First Language English results in the A* to C range (2017 worldwide results = 71%)
*None of our candidates were entered for IGCSE English as a Second Language.

Finally, we would like to say 'well done' to our Year 12 students for their individual and collective accomplishments and thank all the teachers concerned. We hope our 2018-19 Year 11's will be inspired by this year's results and will aim to surpass the achievements of their Y12 peers in June 2019!
