Even though, I completed my teaching qualification in 1998 here in the Czech Republic, I never really stopped studying and learning for my job and always seek opportunities to improve myself in any way. After teaching a few years in a Czech preschool I gained some teaching experience as a volunteer TA at a local primary school in Cheadle in the UK and that led me to start working for international schools in Prague.
I joined and have worked for Nessie in a variety of roles since 2006. I’m particularly keen about the encouraging and supportive philosophy and truly personal approach to each and every student as well as the teachers at Nessie. I find real pleasure to teach Nessie pupils for they are risk-taking and challenging and teaching each other all day long.
Among my greatest achievements,I consider the fact that I was entrusted with bringing to reality the Nessie School Library which I’m thrilled to take over this year again.
I enjoy dancing (tango in particular) and learning (anything really) but honestly, my hobby are my two amazing children. My son Matyáš (7 years old) brought me to cello playing and skiing and Josefína is a wonderful two-year-old, the same age as the children that I take care of in Pre-Nursery.
