After gaining my PGCE qualification in 2013 at Liverpool Hope University I moved on to teach in an international school in Abu Dhabi, as part of the founding faculty. It was here, that I was able to embrace a new culture, better my teaching practice and engage and inspire young children to achieve what they aspire to. I was lucky enough to teach across both Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. I then continued my international adventure by teaching in a British Curriculum School in Dubai. Here I taught Year 2 and Year 4, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I am extremely passionate about teaching and providing a fun, safe and caring environment for my students. I am very excited to embark on this learning journey with both students and parents at Park Lane International School.
When I am not in the classroom I enjoy reading, going to the cinema and watching shows at the theatre. In the holidays I love to go on adventures and travel the world! Some of my favourite adventures have involved sky-diving over the Great Barrier Reef, completing the longest zipline in the world, swimming with whale sharks and seeing some of the ‘7 Wonders of the world’.
