Year 2 Residential Trip

Year 2 Residential Trip
We've had a great start to our trip. The bus journey was quick and the children were well-behaved. You will be proud to know that the children have just made their beds, so as a treat they are spending a bit of their pocket money in the shop.

After we arrived, we had lunch and then split into two groups for our first activities. Some of us started off with archery. Artur and Kuba proved themselves to be great at hitting the target! After that, there was the challenge of team building. After struggling at first, the children realised that working together is far more effective and really enjoyed themselves. Nathaniel, Marsha, Ema, Amanda, Viki and Natalka were great team players and helped the others to work together. We also got to enjoy the bungee trampolines. The children had lots of fun somersaulting backwards and forwards. Nicholas, Denis, Jessica, Ondra and Max were amazing at spinning themselves over. Marianna was so light that she was dangling in the air at times! One of the groups was taken into the woods for an improvised game of golf; they had to find a suitable stick to make a club, and hit the ball through the hoops. After all that, the children were very hungry and lots of them had second helpings of dinner.

We're off to play ball games and then to bed. The teachers are hoping very much that we all get some sleep!
