Maths Workshop for Parents of Nursery and Reception

On Monday 5th March at 15.30 we will be a holding a Foundation Stage Mathematics Parent Workshop where we will be talking about how we teach maths in school and how you can support your children at home. The first section of the workshop will focus on exploring how Maths can be made fun and exciting. We will then explain more specifically about Maths in the Reception year in school.

Foundation Stage Parent Workshop (9.1.2012)

Dear all,

I would like to invite you to our Foundation Stage Parent Workshop that will take place on 9th January and will start at 3.30pm.

We will start the workshop by talking in more depth about the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum that we follow, and you will find out how we plan, teach and support your children's learning and developing within the School day.

The second half of the workshop will be focused around phonics for the Reception parents, and around learning at home for the Nursery parents. Both groups will learn new ideas and ways of how you can further your child’s learning and development at home.

I believe that this workshop will strengthen our home/school link and that it will provide you with new ideas and information to allow you to confidentally understand how your children can get the most from their schooling.

Foundation Stage Parent Workshop (29.9.2011)

You are all invited to come along to our Foundation Stage Parent Workshop, where we will be talking about Transitions, Settling into School and we will also give you an insight into the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum that we follow here at Park Lane.
