Reception trip to the Model Railway at Anděl on Tuesday 29/2/2013
It was a very exciting trip to the Model Railway on Tuesday. We travelled by tram to get there and then looked at the huge amount of model railways that are in the museum! The children were very excited, especially when it turned to night time and all the trains and street lights turned on. There were also lots of buttons to press and see what changed. After lunch we then had a play in the playroom and watched a children's film before returning to school.

Reception is your child’s first year of Primary school and they will attend the Reception class between the ages of 4-5 years. Although our Reception class also follows the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’curriculum like our onsite preschool, your child will be working towards different goals within the curriculum and their learning will be more structured towards the end of the Reception year. The Reception class provides your child with a smooth transition from their preschool years into their Primary school education at Park Lane.
