At Park Lane Primary School, we embrace children of all nationalities and currently have pupils and staff from around the world: Britain, France, Japan, Canada, Australia, the United States and the Czech Republic are just a few of the countries represented in our school community.

At Park Lane International School, all of our teachers are UK trained and qualified and have experience with teaching in international schools. While we follow the National Curriculum of England, your child is not required to have prior knowledge of English as our teachers are experienced and trained to help children of all language levels to access the curriculum and be confident and successful learners.

Children who enter Park Lane Primary School with no previous knowledge of English benefit from an intensive immersion programme. The children receive additional support and learning during Literacy in order to boost their vocabulary and language acquisition.

Our primary school philosophy is 'Every Child Matters'. Although worded very simply we take this to encompass all aspects of a child's enjoyment of school, their well-being and health, their safety, their increasing independence and their moral and physical growth. It matters to us how children learn and develop. We encourage and motivate children to be the best that they can be. We have a very child-centred approach to teaching and learning, and we believe in the fundamental importance of educating the ‘whole’ child and providing an enhancing and creative environment that will support, educate and nurture young learners.
