Park Lane School Council

The council is elected through a democratic process and consists of two children from each class from Year 2 to Year 6. The School Council meets regularly with staff and Parents of Park Lane  (POP!) representatives to discuss ways in which our school can be improved. They form a vital part of our planning as they put forward the views of our students.

The members’ main job is to ensure that the views of the students are presented to staff in school. Council members report back to individual classes with the minutes of meetings as well as asking the classes for their views and ideas on particular subjects. Our virtual learning environment Fronter is used for voting about the next issue the School council should focus on, as well as for informing all students about what has been discussed at the meetings.

The Park Lane School Council aims
to listen to other pupils‘ ideas and
take action to make their learning better
and provide the best possible learning environment.

You can see the members of the School Council for this school year on Fronter under School Council section.
