Modern Foreign Languages

At Park Lane children are offered a choice of Spanish, German or extra Czech from Year 3 upwards. Once a child has chosen their preferred language they will study this language for the next three years, up until the end of Year 6 with a view to continuing this language choice up until IGCSE.

Our Modern Foreign Language teachers (MFL) are trained in teaching languages through speaking and listening activities, songs, role-play and early reading and writing tasks.
