I completed my teaching qualification in 1998 here in the Czech Republic and ever since I have looked for opportunities to learn more to improve my teaching skills.
After teaching in a Czech preschool, I gained some valuable experience as a volunteer Teaching Assistant in a local primary school in Cheadle in the UK and that led me to start working for international schools back in Prague.
I have worked for Park Lane (Prague 5 campus - Nessie) in a variety of roles since 2006. I am particularly keen about the encouraging and supportive philosophy and truly personal approach to each and every child. I find real pleasure in working with children as they are risk-taking, challenging and teaching each other all day long.
Among my greatest non-teaching achievements, I consider the fact that I was entrusted with developing and growing the school library.
I will continue to lead the Czech Program at Prague 5 this year and I am thrilled to support learning as a Reception Teaching Partner.
I enjoy dancing and learning (anything really) but my real hobby is being a mother of two wonderful and inspiring children Matyáš (8 years old) and Josefína (3 years old).
