Originally from a small town in Bedfordshire, England, I studied and trained as a primary school teacher at Ashton St. Peter’s Lower School. After completing a Graduate Teacher Programme in 2013, I decided to move abroad to fulfil some personal goals as well as professional.
I relocated to Prague two years ago and have spent much of my free time exploring the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries – I love to travel and experience different cultures. I think being a teacher is the best job in the world – you are always learning yourself, and teaching children is the most rewarding experience. I have an enthusiastic, dynamic approach to teaching and encourage my students to think for themselves, formulating their own inquiries and feeling the freedom to suggest their ideas. I feel very privileged to work with students from different countries and backgrounds as it is very enriching for the whole life of the school.
After working at the Prague 5 campus teaching Nursery and Year 1, I am thrilled to be newly appointed as Reception teacher at Prague 6.
