Book Week

BOOK WEEK
This week we celebrated 'Book Week' in school and the children had the experience of listening to multicultural stories, stories in different languages and also from a whole host of celebrity guests (who were mums and dads and family members from Park Lane). We send out a huge THANK YOU to all the parents and family members who read a story - you were brilliant and the children absolutely loved listening to your favourite books in different languages. During 'Book Week' the children also had the opportunity to take part in many reading activities and a poetry competition about 'Friendship'. The staff and children also had a fantastic 'dress up' Friday wearing their favourite book character costumes. What an incredible variety of book characters and what amazing costumes!
