After graduating university, I worked for a local MP in the Greater Manchester area for 2 years. However, I soon realised that teaching was the career for me so I spent a year in Carlisle in the North West of England retraining to be a teacher. The first 6 years of my career were spent in an inner city school in Greater Manchester. However, I had always wanted to work in Europe, so I made the decision to move to Germany, where I worked at the Berlin British School for 4 years. I thoroughly enjoyed working and living in a city like Berlin and gained valuable experience of an international school.
I visited Prague in 2010 when I attended a COBIS conference. So in 2012, I made the decision to move and teach in this vibrant capital city. I joined Park Lane in 2014 and very much enjoy being a member of an international community with a family ethos.
