Growing up in Surrey, England, I always dreamed of becoming a nurse. However, my mother, an experienced educator herself, persuaded me to work as a Teaching Assistant at her school and it was there that I decided teaching was for me. I graduated from university in Bristol, England in 2012 where I trained to be an Early Years teacher.
From there I moved to London where I taught my first Nursery class. I adored working in London as I worked in such a culturally diverse community and through the families I worked with; I learnt so much about different ways of life. Deciding it was time for change, I sought work in the international sector, arriving at Park Lane in 2014.
I am very excited to enter my second year as Reception teacher at Park Lane. I am especially looking forward to the many community events such as International Day and our Mother’s Day breakfast. My interests include amateur boxing, cooking and dogs! My family own two very lively Jack Russell terriers in the UK and I like to visit them whenever I get the chance. I am also soon to become an Auntie, which I am very excited about.
