Originally, I am from Hampshire in the UK, I taught for two years at Weyford Infants School, after gaining my degree in teaching at the University of Wales. In 2004, I decided that I would like to experience teaching internationally. This has enabled me to gain invaluable experience in a variety of international schools in Mexico, China, Italy, Poland, Qatar and Slovakia before deciding to move to the Czech Republic. I joined Park Lane in 2015 and I am enjoying teaching Year 2. I am enjoying the opportunity to teach using cross curricular themes to enable the children to be inquisitive about what they are learning and build on their previous knowledge.
I am enjoying working with children from different countries and cultures and find Park Lane’s pupils a pleasure to work with because of their enthusiasm and enjoyment of learning.
I like living in Prague and experiencing the culture of the Czech Republic. My hobbies and interests include learning Czech, travelling to find out about different places and cultures and playing the cello.
